
The Friends of Encyclopædia Iranica in New York and New Jersey and the Encyclopædia Iranica Foundation are pleased to host a Gala Benefit Dinner on May 5, 2007 at the magnificent Rotunda of Columbia University in New York City.
The event is aimed at heightening awareness of Encyclopædia Iranica in New York and New Jersey and raising funds for its successful continuation. The Gala will feature a fabulous entertainment program and will be an unforgettable event that you will not want to miss.
The theme of the Gala is “Celebrating Iranian Fashion Designers”. Several prominent Iranian-Americans who have excelled and achieved worldwide recognition in the field of fashion design will be honored at this event.
Tables of ten are available for $5000.00; individual tickets at $500.00. Sponsorship and patronage donations are greatly appreciated.
All donations should be made to the “Encyclopædia Iranica Foundation” or to “Columbia University for the Encyclopædia Iranica Project”. They all qualify for tax exemption according to law. A tax receipt will also be issued for the maximum allowable portion of ticket prices.
